RT-MB-002/SA is a digital semi-automatic penetrometer with electromechanical needle drive and automatic needle release.

The penetrometer provides a convenient and accurate way to set the penetration needle onto the sample by electromechanical drive with a highly sensitive joystick. For better observation of the sample surface a LED lamp with a movable arm is attached.

The penetration depth is measured by a precise digital dial gauge up to 450 units (equivalent to 45 mm).

Supplied complete with:

• - penetration needle according to EN 1426, 2.5 g;
• - plunger of 97.5 g with removable surcharge of 50 g;
• - additional surcharge of 100 g;
• - sample cup Ø55x35 mm according to EN 1426 – 3 pcs;
• - penetration transfer dish.
