The extruder is used to push out specimens from Marshall, Proctor, and CBR moulds. The adapters can be easily fit by conforming to the mould diameter: 100 mm, 150 mm, 4”, and 6”. The extruder is equipped with a hydraulic power pack with a safety bypass valve and a stop limit switch for the lower ram position. The ram lift is controlled by a foot pedal, which frees the hands to hold the mould while lifting. Supplied complete with adaptors Ø109.7 mm aperture (for 100 mm and 4” diameter moulds) and Ø162.2 mm aperture (for 150 mm and 6” diameter moulds).
